Experience Details*
Discover the charms of Stockholm’s Old Town and sip a drink in the city’s coolest bar.
Your local guide will show the way and share intriguing facts as you stroll over the cobbles of the narrow, twisting streets. Admire the baroque style of the massive Royal Palace and wander through Stortorget, the square that’s home to the 18th-century Stock Exchange Building – now housing the Swedish Academy and the Nobel Museum.
Take some time to shop for souvenirs or buy yourself a snack, then head off for a scenic drive into the heart of the city. At the Hotel C, wrap up warm in a poncho and mittens, and step into the Icebar.
Kept at a chilly temperature of -5°C all year round, the interior was carved out of 40 tonnes of ice from the Torne River. You’ll be served a vodka-based drink in an ice glass, which you can sip while relaxing on furniture made of ice. Enjoy the chilled-out vibe and admire the various sculptures dotted all around.
