Experience Details*
Get under the skin of the Swedish capital and an enchanting nearby town.
Stroll through the atmospheric streets of Gamla Stan, Stockholm’s beautiful old quarter. Your guide will lead the way and share knowledge of landmarks such as the baroque Royal Palace and the Stock Exchange Building in Stortorget (Great Square).
Head to the lush island of Djurgården and step inside the Vasa Museum. Marvel at the magnificent 17th-century warship that sank in the city’s inner harbour on her maiden voyage and take a little free time to wander round on your own.
A delicious lunch of provincial dishes will be served in a local restaurant in Sigtuna, an idyllic and ancient town on the shore of Lake Mälaren. Meander through the lanes of colourful wooden houses and admire the quaint town hall – the smallest in the country. Take the chance to visit the oldest street in Sweden and enjoy some time to shop for souvenirs.
