Waterfall and Coast

Set in the Richmond Valley rainforest, in the north west of St. Vincent, the Dark View Falls is a main destination of the island. Fed by a tributary of the Richmond River, the waterfall has an elevation of up to 229 feet and flows into two pools that are great for bathing. The easy hike to the waterfalls, of a stunning natural beauty, crosses the Richmond River on a swinging (but safe) natural bridge made of long bamboo poles.

Experience both the exotic interior and heavenly coast of idyllic St Vincent.

Hop aboard an island catamaran and soak up the gorgeous coastal scenery as you sail to the leeward side of the island, where you may recognise the village of Wallilabou – a setting from the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ movie.

At the beach you are free to go for a swim or try the excellent snorkelling, take a stroll along the tree-lined stretch of paradise, or simply bask in the glorious sunshine.

Then enjoy a gentle, natural massage as you stand under the tumbling water at the enchanting Dark View Falls. Cascading 75 feet down a sheer rock face into a small shimmering pool, it’s a wonderful experience.

You’ll also get an opportunity to try to spot the furry, winged inhabitants at the exit of the mysterious Bat Cave.
