Hunter Valley, Wine Tasting and Lunch

Hunter Valley is home to over 4,000 acres of vines, 90 wineries and several Australia's oldest and most acclaimed wine estates.  Spend the day at 3 of Hunter Valley’s best wineries and enjoy the lovely panoramic views across the vineyards.  A delicious local-style lunch will be served and there will be an opportunity to visit an array of speciality and boutique shops at the Hunter Valley Shopping Village.  Setting off from Sydney, your journey will take you along the pacific highway and head inland towards Hunter Valley.  A short comfort stop will be made en-route at a nice vantage point, where you can stretch your legs and enjoy the views across the ocean.  You may also wish to purchase a refreshment from the local café before the final leg of the journey. Next, you’ll visit Hope Estate; a family owned and run winery set in spectacular grounds. For your first wine tasting experience before heading onto Hunter Valley Resort. Here you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch and more wine tasting. 

Afterwards, you’ll head to Tulloch Wines nestled among vines at the foot of the Brokenback Mountain Range, a must visit destination in the Hunter Valley. Enjoy a wine tasting session overlooking the vineyards from the cellar door.  Your final stop is the Hunter Valley Village, where you’ll have some free time to explore, browse and shop before you embark on the return journey to the ship.
