Hunter Valley is home to over 4,000 acres of vines, 90 wineries and several Australia's oldest and most acclaimed wine estates. Spend the day at 3 of Hunter Valley’s best wineries and enjoy the lovely panoramic views across the vineyards. A delicious local-style lunch will be served and there will be an opportunity to visit an array of speciality and boutique shops at the Hunter Valley Shopping Village. Setting off from Sydney, your journey will take you along the pacific highway and head inland towards Hunter Valley. A short comfort stop will be made en-route at a nice vantage point, where you can stretch your legs and enjoy the views across the ocean. You may also wish to purchase a refreshment from the local café before the final leg of the journey. Next, you’ll visit Hope Estate; a family owned and run winery set in spectacular grounds. For your first wine tasting experience before heading onto Hunter Valley Resort. Here you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch and more wine tasting.
Afterwards, you’ll head to Tulloch Wines nestled among vines at the foot of the Brokenback Mountain Range, a must visit destination in the Hunter Valley. Enjoy a wine tasting session overlooking the vineyards from the cellar door. Your final stop is the Hunter Valley Village, where you’ll have some free time to explore, browse and shop before you embark on the return journey to the ship.

Please let the shore experience team know at least 72 hours prior to departure if you have any dietary requirements. Wineries visited may be subject to change. Guests under the age of 18 cannot participate in wine tasting. This excursion will operate by coach and on foot. This tour has limited availability, therefore early booking is highly recommended. The journey to Hunter Valley is approximately 2½ hours each way. Participants in the wine tasting must be over 18 years of age. This tour involves around 1½ hours of walking over rough and uneven ground and flat comfortable shoes are recommended. Please note that the order of venues visited may vary.
