Journey through the beautiful surroundings of the Aguirre Valley, the Esperanza pine forests and the foothills of Teide National Park, where you'll pause for refreshments at a local restaurant.
At the heart of the national park, ancient lava fields, vast volcanic craters and striking rock formations create a landscape unlike anywhere else in Spain. The sheer scale of the surroundings is difficult to appreciate until you're standing amongst them.
Take in views of the enormous volcanic crater, stretching more than 29 miles in circumference, before turning your gaze towards majestic Mount Teide, Spain's highest peak, rising over 12,000 feet above sea level. Enjoy free time to wander among the remarkable Roques de García rock formations, capture memorable photographs and soak up the peaceful atmosphere of this extraordinary natural wonder.

Essential information
The journey to and throzugh the Mount Teide National Park is approximately 1½ hours. This excursion will travel up some mountain roads to approximately 7,000 feet above sea level. Warm clothing is recommended. It is forbidden to remove any stones or plants from the National Park. The cable car at Mount Teide is not included. Walking is mainly flat over gravel and paved areas. Guests need to wear comfortable, flat, closed walking shoes. In inclement weather, the access to Mount Teide may close at short notice. In which case an alternative route will be taken.
