Ride through the sights of Taranto and into the picturesque countryside for an olive oil tasting.

You’ll drive past Piazza Castello, which boasts the remains of the 6th-century BC Temple of Poseidon, and see the immense 15th-century waterside fortress – Castello Aragonese. After witnessing the ‘two seas’ of Taranto, you’ll delve into the stunning countryside along the Trulli route, towards the hilltop village of Martina Franca and Locorotondo. This charming route offers the fairytale spectacle of the trulli, typical cone-roofed houses, and is blanketed with olive trees and drystone walls. Within this magical combination of nature and history, you’ll visit a typical frantoio (olive oil mill) and taste their delicious extra virgin olive oil.
