You’ll pass Tromsø Church, one of the largest wooden churches in the north, and riding around this forest-clad island, you’ll reach the 1,220-metre-long Sandnessund Bridge. This will take you to Tromsø’s most modern suburb, Kvaløya (Whale Island), which boasts a striking backdrop of impressive mountain peaks.
As you return to Troms Island, you’ll see the world’s northernmost university, the Northern Lights Planetarium, and the beautiful Tromsdalen Parish Church, known as the Arctic Cathedral.
