Head to the iconic Arctic Cathedral and admire the ultra-modern design that symbolises light and dark and features a stunning stained-glass window along the eastern wall. The glass mosaics alter according to the light of the sun, ranging from morning transparency to dark when the midnight sun shines from the west.

Essential information
There are some stairs and steps to be negotiated at the Arctic Cathedral and Polaria. Lifts are not available. The Cathedral can close at short notice for religious ceremonies, in which case only the exterior will be viewed from the coach and a visit made to the Maritime school instead. The tour involves a tunnel.
