Experience Details*
Take a fascinating walk through downtown Tromsø and admire the interesting mix of modest wooden houses and ultra-modern architecture. You’ll see Tromsø Cathedral, one of the largest wooden churches in the north, and walk down the main pedestrian street. Continuing along the harbour you’ll arrive at Mack Brewery, which was established in 1877 to offer an alternative to hard liquor. Today it produces 18 different types of beer, and after touring the old facilities, which are now a microbrewery, you’ll sample a delicious beer. Then visit Beer Hall, the oldest pub in town, to try another local brew.
