Travel through the city to the Ringve Music Museum, set on a hill overlooking the beautiful Trondheim fjord and surrounded by gardens. Inside the former stable and old manner house you’ll find an incredible collection of around 2,000 musical instruments from all over the world.
Enjoy a recital performed by musicians in national costume, toasting the occasion with sparkling wine, and pop into the gift shop for museum memorabilia. Move on to visit the impressive Gothic-style Nidaros Cathedral set on the burial site of King Olav, the patron saint who's said to have introduced Christianity to Norway.
