Fancy trying some top provincial tipples?
Relax and enjoy the scenery on the panoramic drive to the Benicàssim region on the Costa del Azahar (the Orange Blossom Coast). A warm welcome awaits you at the Carmelitano winery and distillery, an intriguing place where monks began making delicious liquors in the late 19th century.
Find out about the distilling process behind the beloved drinks, which combines ancient artisanal recipes with the latest technology. The proof of the product, of course, is in the tasting. So, be sure to try a few varieties and perhaps buy a bottle to take home.
In the town of Castellón, admire the beautiful landmarks surrounding Plaza Mayor including the stunning Santa María cathedral and the 15th-century El Fadrí bell tower. Take a little free time to soak up the atmosphere or duck into the local shops to browse for souvenirs.
