Experience Details*

Start your day by boarding a catamaran for a leisurely cruise around the bay of Vigo, seeing Saint Simon Island and the fishing villages of Cangas and Moaña. Relax onboard your boat, as your knowledgeable guide enlightens you with interesting facts as to how Vigo is now the largest fishing port in the world. During your cruise, you’ll see typical Galician suspended mussel beds; one of the major products in the Galician fishing industry. Your guide will explain the different methods of mussel production as you taste fresh mussels, accompanied by Albariño white wine.

Upon arrival in the charming village of Bayona, a short walk will take you to the Parador Conde de Gondomar Hotel. Housed within the walls of a 16th century fortress, atop Monte Real hill, the Parador offers stunning panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean. Your exquisite lunch is accompanied by fine wine from the Galician region.

Complete your tour with a leisurely guided walk around Bayona’s Old Quarter, before the return catamaran ride back to the ship.
