Fancy trying something new? Hop on a Segway and head off for an effortless exploration of Vigo’s most famous areas.
Your experienced guide will be waiting for you at the quay and, after a safety briefing and a little practice on your personal transporter, you’ll soon be zooming along the seafront.
Feel the breeze on your skin as you pass the palm trees on the pedestrianised promenade, which is met by the glistening Atlantic Ocean. When you reach Estrella Square, head to the oasis of Compostela Gardens and take a little time to photograph the lush, manicured surroundings.
Head for Puerta del Sol – the heart of the city and presided over by the imposing El Sireno sculpture (The Merman) – and return to the port via the Old Quarter, passing Constitution Square and Santa María Collegiate Church.
During your ride, you’ll pause occasionally to hear your guide share in-depth knowledge about the city and its heritage.
