Experience Details*

Meander the narrow, tangled lanes of Medieval Visby, where painted houses covered in fragrant roses are treats for the eyes and nose.

With ruined churches around every corner and the grand St Mary's Cathedral and impressive 13th-century ramparts to appreciate, this is a must for history buffs.

Step even further back in time at the picturesque fishing village of Gnisvärd. The large Ship Grave – a Bronze Age burial ground in which stones stand on their edge in the shape of a ship – depicts the vessel that took departed chieftains on their voyage to eternity.
