Enjoy a variety of stops on a fully narrated 60 minute round trip loop.
Your route will take in sights such as the Halifax Citadel, Public Gardens, Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Province House and Fairview Lawn Cemetery, and great shopping destinations such as the Historic Properties and Spring Garden Road.
You’ll have the opportunity to remain on board throughout or hop on and hop off as you please, which provides the flexibility to plan your own schedule and to discover some of the city’s highlights. On each bus you can find QR codes that will allow you to access the route map, so be sure to bring your cell phone!
Essential information
This excursion will operate by vintage double-decker buses that do not have air-conditioning. Admissions for city attractions are not included and are at your discretion. This tour departs from the quayside approximately every 15-30 minutes throughout the day, depending on traffic. Long lines are to be expected. Guests are requested to present their ticket/pass every time they wish to re-board the bus. This tour is not exclusive to P & O Cruises. The commentary on board is available in English only. Pickups may be limited or wait times longer around noon due to the daily midday cannon fire at Halifax Citadel.
