Immerse yourself in Croatia’s natural world and visit a spectacular ancient Turkish villa.

 

Nestled just off the coast between Zadar and Vodice, you’ll find Vrana Lake, Croatia’s largest lake. At 57 square kilometres it’s the star of the Vrana Lake Nature Park, and one of the country’s top bird-watching locations, with 256 bird species recorded. Stopping at Kamenjaka viewpoint you’ll get incredible views of the entire lake, including the Kornati Islands. Then delve into Turkish culture at nearby Maškovic Han, a beautifully restored walled-enclosed property built in 1644, in traditional Ottoman style. Boasting a hammam and museum, you’ll experience an authentic Turkish atmosphere, along with refreshments and Turkish delight.
