No, but you’ll need an internet connection to download the app, which is why we recommend doing this at home before your holiday starts. Once you’ve downloaded the app and entered the code for your ship, you won’t need to access the internet again to play.

Do I need to buy a Wi-Fi package to play Hide & Sheep?

The on-board youth manager will know where they’re all hidden, so if you can’t find one, you can always ask them.&nbsp;

I can’t find all the markers, what should I do?

Android:
Shaun the Sheep: Hide &amp; Sheep A.R. Trail has been developed for Android devices that run at least Android 7.0 Nougat and support augmented reality via ARCore. You can check whether your device supports ARCore by referencing this list: <a href="https://nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdevelopers.google.com%2Far%2Fdevices&amp;data=05%7C01%7CCatherine.Kennedy%40Carnivalukgroup.com%7C4a882066b7b940f3efb408db813ebacc%7C9e37b9e905de4906b089536f19689074%7C0%7C0%7C638245878648439161%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=JjWmQ7Jpltd4nNkzRgBuKaAE9oeKVs%2FbOxAvEp%2FkjaQ%3D&amp;reserved=0">https://developers.google.com/ar/devices</a>
Unfortunately, the app won’t run on Android devices that don’t meet these requirements.
iOS:
Shaun the Sheep: Hide &amp; Sheep A.R. Trail has been developed for Apple devices that support Augmented Reality from the iPhone 6S onwards. Previous iPhone models are not fully supported.

Is my phone compatible with the app?

You’ll need internet access to download the app, so unless you’ve bought a Wi-Fi package, we recommend waiting until you’re in one of the destinations on your holiday and making the most of data or Wi-Fi available there.&nbsp;

What happens if I don’t download the app before I get on board?

Simply open the app and follow the instructions on-screen, selecting which language you’d like to use. Point your camera at the marker and search for Shaun in the scene that appears, then tap him and watch him pop out and strike a pose. You can even take a photo with Shaun! Can you collect all 11 and complete your stamp collection?

What should I do once I’ve found a marker?

Fun fact – the venue codes match the year each ship was launched!
Arvia = 2022
Iona = 2021
Britannia = 2015
Azura = 2010
Ventura = 2008

Which venue code do I need for the ship I’m going on?

Frequently asked questions

Shaun the Sheep is hiding in various places on each of our ships, waiting to pose for baa-rilliant photos with you and your family!
Follow the trail and search for the 11 markers hidden around your ship, each revealing an augmented reality scene when you scan it with the free Hide &amp; Sheep app.
When you find Shaun in the scene, tap him and pose alongside him. Capture the fun, complete the whole trail and feel free to share your photos with friends and family!
It’s best to download the free app before you sail, while you have Wi-Fi. So, be sure to scan the QR code below or download from the <a href="https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/hide-sheep/id1586184911">App Store</a>or <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aardman.shaunartrail&amp;hl=en_GB&amp;gl=US">Google Play</a> now.
After downloading the app, enter your ship code and you’re all set for when you board.
