We offer three ways to upgrade your cabin at P&amp;O Cruises:

Paying to upgrade

<h2>1. Paying to upgrade</h2>
If you’d like to upgrade your cabin after booking, and you booked your holiday with us, just get in touch with our Customer Contact Centre. Otherwise, please contact your travel agent.
If the cabin type you’d like to upgrade to is available, you can just pay the difference from your original holiday price to upgrade.
If the cabin type you’d like to upgrade to isn’t available, you have two options:
<ol>
<li>Explore other cabin options you could upgrade to</li>
<li>Join a waitlist in case a cabin becomes available</li>
</ol>

Submitting an offer for an upgrade

<h2>2. Submitting an offer for an upgrade using our P&amp;O Cruises Upgrade programme</h2>
The second way you can upgrade your cabin is by using our P&amp;O Cruises Upgrade website. This allows you to upgrade by submitting a payment offer (subject to minimum reserves). 
 
If our Upgrade programme is available for your cruise, we’ll email you around 80 days before you’re due to sail.
To be eligible to take part, you must be:
<ul>
<li>The lead guest</li>
<li>Aged 18 or over</li>
<li>Have paid off your holiday balance in full</li>
<li>Signed up to receive pre-cruise communications</li>
</ul>

Sometimes we may upgrade your cabin for operational reasons. If this happens, we’ll automatically move you to a more preferential cabin of the same type, at no extra cost.
Important to know
All automatic upgrades are final and cannot be reversed. If your cabin is selected for an automatic upgrade, you cannot keep the original cabin you booked.
Want to opt out of automatic upgrades?
If you’ve chosen your cabin for a reason and would prefer not to be upgraded automatically, please let your travel agent or our Customer Contact Centre know, and we can opt you out.
