How to upgrade:
With our Upgrade programme, you have the power to upgrade your current cabin. Here's how it works:
- Check your eligibility: Eligible guests will be sent an email to access the upgrade website, or you can head there directly: P&O Cruises | Upgrade your cabin (plusgrade.com). This is a separate website from P&O Cruises. If you cannot log in to the Upgrade website with your booking reference, check that you are eligible.
- Choose your cabin: Once on the P&O Cruises Upgrades website, you’ll be provided with a list of possible upgrades to choose from.
- Make your offer: If you're eligible, you can submit an offer for the amount you'd be willing to pay for an upgrade.
- Fingers crossed! We'll review your offer and consider other factors like cabin availability. If your offer is accepted, you'll receive an email with instructions to finalise your upgrade, and make payment, within 72 hours
- Stay updated: If your offer isn't accepted, you'll be notified approximately 6 days before sailing.
Who is eligible for an upgrade?
You are eligible for the P&O Cruises cabin upgrade programme if you meet all these requirements:

If you are eligible for our upgrade programme. You will receive an invite to make an offer on a cabin upgrade approximately 80 days before your cruise departure.

Additional information:
- Can I refuse the upgrade? Your upgrade is irreversible.
- Specific locations/features: If you’ve selected a particular cabin due to its features or location, you may not want to upgrade as you may not get a cabin with the same features.
- Accessible cabins: If you’ve booked an accessible cabin, you’ll only be upgraded if an accessible cabin if available at your chosen upgrade cabin grade.
- Cancelling/Modifying: You can cancel/modify your offer up until the offer is accepted and your cabin has been upgraded.
- Multiple upgrade offers: You can place multiple upgrade offers but cannot offer more than once on an individual cabin type.
- Future Cruise Credit: You can use your Future Cruise Credit to pay for your upgrade.
- Solo/large group travellers: The upgrade amount is per guest for the entire duration of the cruise and offers are based on two guests per cabin. This means a solo traveller will pay 200% of the offer you make. If there are more than 2 guests in your cabin only the first two guests will pay for the upgrade.
