How much will my upgrade cost?

How much will my upgrade cost?

Upgrade offers are per person, based on two guests sharing a cabin. If you’re travelling by yourself, that means you’ll need to pay 200% of your accepted offer. If more than two guests are booked in your cabin, only the first two guests will pay for the upgrade.

For example: If your upgrade offer is £100, a solo traveller will pay £200 if the offer is accepted.

Frequently asked questions

More answers to commonly asked questions

Can I make more than one offer?

Yes, you can submit offers on more than one type of cabin.

Can I change or cancel my upgrade offer after submitting?

You can change or cancel an upgrade offer at any point until your offer is accepted or rejected.

How will I know if my upgrade offer is successful?

If your offer is accepted, your cabin will be automatically upgraded, and we’ll email you within 72 hours with instructions on how to pay.

If your offer isn’t accepted, we’ll let you know around six days before you sail.

Will I keep my original cabin’s location or features?

Not necessarily. Because different cabin types are located in different areas of our ships and include different features, it isn’t possible to guarantee that you’ll keep the same cabin location or features if you submit an offer to upgrade.

If you chose your cabin for a reason, our Upgrade programme may not be suitable for you.

Can I choose not to upgrade if my offer gets accepted?

Upgrades made through our Upgrade programme are final and can’t be refused or reversed.

You’ll be upgraded automatically if your offer is accepted, and you won’t be able to specify the location of your upgraded cabin, so only make an upgrade offer if you’re 100% sure you’d be happy to change cabins.

Can I upgrade if I’m in an accessible cabin?

Yes, but you’ll only be upgraded if another accessible cabin is available.

Can I use Future Cruise Credit to pay for my cabin upgrade?

Yes, you can use Future Cruise Credit towards the cost of your cabin upgrade.

Our P&O Cruises Upgrade programme lets you view potential upgrades to your cabin type after booking and submit an offer of what you'd like to pay for it. If your offer is accepted, you’ll automatically be upgraded. This guide explains how our Upgrade programme works, who’s eligible and how to make an offer.
