How do I search for a cruise holiday using filters?

To start searching for your cruise, go to our Find & Book page here and start to filter the search for your perfect holiday.

Filter by date

Don't miss out on your ideal departure date! Simply select the ‘When?’ drop-down list near the top of the ‘Find & Book’ page and choose your desired time frame. This ensures your search prioritises cruises departing on your preferred dates.

Filter by school holidays

Peak times include school holidays in July and August, as well as Christmas and Easter breaks. Go to ‘More filters’, scroll down and click ‘Themes’, then select ‘School holidays’ from the list of options. 

This filter helps tailor your search to your desired atmosphere. Remember, too, that our themed holidays are more likely to be during the busiest times, such as Christmas. 

Filter by cabin type

Yearning for a daily dose of ocean views and fresh air? To filter by cabins that offer an outdoor space, go to ‘More filters’, scroll down and click ‘Cabin types’, then select ‘Balcony’ or ‘Suite’. 

Or if you prefer a cosy indoor space, select ‘Inside’ or ‘Sea view’.

Filter by price

Finding a holiday within your budget couldn’t be easier! Go to ‘More filters’, scroll down and click ‘Browse by price per person’, then select your preferred price range from the list of options. This allows you to quickly identify holidays that fit within your budget.

Alternatively, select ‘Next departures’ (near the top of the ‘Find & Book’ page) for more filters, which include an option to list holidays in order of price: low-high or high-low. 

Match dates with itinerary

Dream destinations await! Once you’ve filtered by date, click ‘View itinerary’ on a specific cruise that takes your fancy, then select ‘Show cruise itinerary’ to explore where your holiday will take you.

Alternatively, go to the ‘Ports to visit’ drop-down list first to select your desired port. Then select the ‘When?’ drop-down list and choose the month and year you wish to sail.

Please note: not all months will be available as this depends on the port you’ve selected.

Southampton round trip

Prefer to avoid air travel? To find cruise holidays departing from and arriving in Southampton, from the ‘Find & Book’ page go to the ‘More filters’ drop-down list, then scroll down to ‘Round-trip from Southampton’. 

This allows you to enjoy a relaxing cruise holiday without the need for flights.

Filter by ship

If you're seeking an adult only escape, you’ll enjoy our exclusively-for-adults ships: Arcadia and Aurora. From the ‘Find & Book’ page, go to the ‘Ships’ drop-down list and select your ship.

Prefer a getaway with a lively atmosphere for the whole family? You can filter by our family-friendly ships: Arvia, Azura, Britannia, Iona and Ventura.

More ways to filter

There are many other ways you can filter the search results, or change the order in which they appear, to find the perfect cruise holiday for you. Here are some options. 

From the ‘Find & Book’ page

• Cruise duration: Filter by ‘How long?’ to choose the duration for your holiday, with options ranging from 1 to 5 nights, all the way to 17 nights or more. 
• Special offer: Looking for a particular offer? Or want an additional Peninsular Club member discount? Filter by ‘Special offer’ to see cruise holidays with additional discounts and offers. 
• Next departures/later departures: Want to book a last-minute adventure? Or plan for next year's getaway? Filter the order of results by ‘Next departure’ or ‘Later departure’ to find your options. 
• Duration (longest/shortest): Looking for a short break or want to travel the world in one holiday? Under the default ‘Next departure’ drop-down list, filter the order of your search results by shortest to longest or vice versa to see what’s available. 

Under ‘More filters’ on the ‘Find & Book’ page

• Cruise code: Already picked your cruise? Filter by cruise code, e.g. A001, to save on scrolling time. 
• Flights included: To find your perfect fly-cruise without having to book your own flights, filter by ‘Flights included?’. Or choose ‘Flights not included’ if you prefer to book your own flights so you can stay longer in your embarkation/disembarkation port. 
• Airports: Looking for a particular regional airport? To help you filter cruise holidays that depart from your chosen airport, select ‘Airports’.
