Can I go back-to-back sailing with P&O Cruises?

Yes, you can do consecutive sailings on the same ship or on two different ships with P&O Cruises. Or you can combine a sailing with P&O Cruises and another with a second company.

Booking

Last updated: 19/09/2024

Please note: if both sailings are with P&O Cruises, each one must be six nights or longer and booked on the Select Price. Back-to-back sailings can’t be booked for World Cruises, Classic Southern Hemisphere Journeys or cruises of 41 nights or more.

Moving between ships

  • If you’re doing back-to-back cruises on two different ships, ensure you allow enough time to transfer between the two ships and don’t forget you will have to go through the standard embarkation process for your second sailing.
  • Should you wish to do a back-to-back sailing that involves a second company, please make sure you understand any extra or different requirements that the second company might have.

Staying on the same ship

  • If you’re doing a back-to-back cruise on the same ship, try to book the same cabin for both cruises to avoid moving your luggage.
  • There’s no need to disembark and check in again if travelling on back-to-back cruises on the same ship. All you’ll need to do is simply visit Reception to re-register and activate your on-board account for the second cruise.
  • You’ll be asked to attend the muster drills at the beginning of both cruises.

When booking back-to-back cruises on the same P&O Cruises ship, you’re entitled to a 10% discount on each booking*.

* There are some exceptions. The 10% discount does not apply to:

  • World Cruises
  • Classic Southern Hemisphere Journeys
  • Exotic fly-cruises
  • Seven-night fly-cruises to the Canary Islands, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean
  • Consecutive cruises on different ships
  • Cruises of five nights or less
  • Cruises of 41 nights or longer.
