Do I need to declare health conditions or disabilities?

Yes please. At P&O Cruises, we want to ensure that every holiday is enjoyable and safe. To help us do that, we need to know in advance about any disabilities or health conditions that guests might need assistance with.

If you’ll need help from staff at the port or while on board the ship, we kindly ask that you complete our On-Board Needs Questionnaire before your cruise holiday starts. You can find and complete the questionnaire via My P&O Cruises

Please submit the questionnaire as soon as possible, to allow us time to arrange suitable assistance and to answer any questions you might have.

Please note: you’ll also need to tell your travel insurance provider about your health conditions and disabilities.

How do I find the On-Board Needs Questionnaire?

 

Step One

Go to the P&O Cruises website, click ‘Manage my booking’, then choose ‘My P&O Cruises’. Or you can log in directly here.

Step Two

Log in using your booking reference, first name, last name and date of birth.

Step Three 

Click the ‘Before you sail’ tab, go to the ‘On-Board Needs’ section and read through the important information on the web page. When you’ve finished reading it, click ‘Access the questionnaire’.

Step Four 

Fill out the questionnaire and submit it. This will ensure you get the right help when sailing with P&O Cruises. 

 

Who needs to fill out the On-Board Needs Questionnaire?

Please complete the questionnaire if:

  • You need help to embark or disembark the ship, or in the unlikely event of an emergency evacuation 

  • You need special accommodation because of your medical needs

  • You’ll be bringing medical equipment or mobility devices on board 

  • Your doctor or travel insurance provider has advised you to declare your needs to us. 

Who should I contact if I’m likely to need emergency help?

Please tell the Customer Contact Centre advisor at the time of booking or call us on 0344 338 8003. If you’ve booked through a travel agent, please tell them at the time of booking or get in touch with them as soon as possible.
