What do I need to know about the onboard casino?
On your holiday with P&O Cruises, you may wish to spend some time at the tables in our onboard casino. With our own croupiers and tables, and a selection of popular games, playing at our casino is simple.

Responsible gambling
Gambling should always be an enjoyable and entertaining experience, and we encourage all our guests to play responsibly. That means knowing your limits, taking regular breaks, and never spending more than you can afford.
If the fun starts to fade or you feel the need to step away, take a time out. Our onboard team is here to support you, and there are plenty of other activities to enjoy, of course, many of which are free.
Using the casino
Whether it’s an afternoon treat or an after-dinner activity, our onboard casinos help you feel the thrill of classic table games like blackjack, roulette and poker, while you’re on board. We also have state-of-the-art slot machines, interactive game shows, virtual horse races and daily bingo.
Is there a dress code?
There’s no dress code for our casinos, but we do ask that you come appropriately attired, with shoes and shirts worn at all times, and no swimwear or towels.
Many of our guests like to dress up, giving our casino all the glitz and glamour – but there’s no obligation to do so. Please ensure you’re comfortable and that you follow the rules above.
What ships have a casino on board?
Iona, Azura, Arcadia, Aurora, Arvia, Ventura, and Britannia all have a casino on board.
To find your casino, follow the maps on board or ask a member of staff.
What is the casino opening time?
Casino opening hours vary by ship and demand, but are usually open while the ship is sailing, and close at around midnight every evening.
What do I do with unused chips at the end of my holiday?
All of our ships operate a 'cash-free' environment with prices in £ sterling. Just like other casinos, you’ll need chips to play. These can be added to your onboard account and charged to you at the end of your trip.
We’d always recommend trading your chips before you leave the casino. But if you end up at the end of your trip with unused chips, be sure to ask a member of the onboard team to exchange them before you depart.
