Cots in cabins

Getting a cot 

Cots can be added to our family-friendly ships, Arvia, Azura, Britannia, Iona and Ventura. 

Arcadia and Aurora host family-friendly holidays, as well as adult-only holidays. During the family-friendly holidays, cots can be added to these ships.  

Please note: Not all cabins can accommodate a cot when the upper berth is in use. Please contact us before you travel to check. 

Requesting a cot 

To request a cot in your cabin, contact us before you travel. This helps make sure a cot is available when you arrive. 

Cot size 

The approximate cot sizes used on board:

• When assembled: (L) 103cm, (W) 72cm, (D) 79.5cm  
• When folded: (L) 25cm, (W) 25cm, (D) 79.5cm  
• Weight: approximately 8kg 

Bedding options 

Cots include a fitted sheet and one small blanket. You’re welcome to bring additional bedding or sleeping items if needed. 

Bed rails for children 

Bed rails are available on family-friendly ships and family-friendly holidays on Arcadia and Aurora. You can request these on board. Bed rails aren’t available for adults. 

Bringing your own items  

You’re welcome to bring your own baby equipment, as long as it fits in your cabin. This includes prams, travel cots and other essentials. 

Food for babies

What’s on offer 

Babies are welcome in all restaurants, and you can bring your own baby food. A selection of baby food is also available on request. 

Requesting baby food and organic jars 

You can request Hipp Organic jars (6+ months and 7+ months only and subject to availability) a minimum of 12 weeks before sailing. Please contact us to request this option at least 12 weeks before the start of your holiday. If you book a holiday departing sooner than that, or if you forget to tell us you need baby food, you’re welcome to bring your own. All items need to be fully sealed with the original labels, with expiry dates beyond the end of your holiday, and must be easily accessible during check-in when going through security. 

Bottle warmers and sterilisers 

Bottle warmers are available on family-friendly ships. A limited number of sterilisers are also available, depending on the ship. Breastfeeding is welcome throughout the ship. 

Baby baths

Baby baths are available onboard, subject to availability.
