What are the reward tiers? 

The Peninsular Club is based on tiers, with each tier representing a different loyalty status. There are six tiers named after the oceans and seas sailed by our ships: 

  • Pacific tier

  • Atlantic tier

  • Mediterranean tier

  • Caribbean tier

  • Baltic tier

  • Ligurian tier

They’re arranged in order of size, with the smallest sea, the Ligurian, being the name of our most exclusive tier. 

How do the reward tiers work? 

We award you 10 loyalty points for each night you spend on board. As you accumulate more points (that is, you spend more nights on board), you’ll be eligible for a different tier. The points required for each tier are: 

  • Pacific tier: 150 – 500 points 

  • Atlantic tier: 501 – 1000 points 

  • Mediterranean tier: 1,001 – 2,000 points 

  • Caribbean tier: 2,001 – 2,500 points 

  • Baltic tier: 2,501 points or more, plus 80 nights 

  • Ligurian tier: 2,501 points or more, plus 201 nights

The tier system is automatic, so you don't need to do anything to move up a tier; you just need to spend more nights on board. 

Please note: to collect loyalty points on all future cruise holidays with us, you must use the same account number we gave you on your first P&O Cruises holiday.

Frequently asked questions about Peninsular Club tiers

How can I check my current tier? 

To access and check your Peninsular Club status, tier or loyalty level, log in to My Account.

When will my loyalty points be awarded? 

Loyalty points are awarded when you’ve completed a cruise holiday with us. 

Once you’ve spent at least 15 nights on board (150 points), you automatically become a member and enter the Pacific tier. You’ll be entitled to Pacific tier benefits when you join us for your next cruise holiday. 

As points are awarded at the end of a cruise holiday, you can’t move up a tier during the holiday; you’ll enjoy the additional benefits when you join us next time.

How do I become a Baltic or Ligurian member?

Do you have 2,501 points or over? If so, you’re partly qualified. 

  • To qualify for the Baltic tier, you’ll also need to have spent 80 to 200 nights on board in the three years preceding your next cruise holiday. 

  • To enter the Ligurian tier, you must have spent at least 201 nights on board in the three years preceding your next cruise holiday. 

The three years start from the embarkation date of your next cruise holiday.

I am currently a Baltic/Ligurian member; will I still be a member on my next P&O Cruises holiday?

To continue to enjoy Baltic or Ligurian benefits, in the three years before the departure date of your next cruise holiday, you must have spent at least 80 nights on board for Baltic and at least 201 nights for Ligurian.

Will I get points if I travel with your sister brands? 

No. Peninsular Club points can be awarded only to members travelling on board a P&O Cruises ship.
