Introducing the P&O Cruises loyalty programme

The Peninsular Club is a loyalty programme that offers benefits and discounts for P&O Cruises guests.

How does the Peninsular Club work?

Guests earn 10 points for each night spent on a P&O Cruises ship. Once you’ve earned 150 points, you’re automatically enrolled in the Peninsular Club.

  • Loyalty points are awarded once you’ve completed a P&O Cruises holiday.

  • As the number of nights you spend on board with us increases over subsequent holidays, so does your tier status.

  • Each time you complete a cruise holiday that takes you to the next tier, you’ll enjoy a new level of benefits when you take your next holiday with us.

The tiers

The Peninsular Club has six tiers, named after the oceans and seas sailed by our ships:

  • Pacific tier: 150 – 500 points

  • Atlantic tier: 501 – 1,000 points

  • Mediterranean tier: 1,001 – 2000 points

  • Caribbean tier: 2,001 – 2,500 points

  • Baltic tier: 2,501 points or more, plus 80 nights

  • Ligurian tier: 2,501 points or more, plus 201 nights

The tiers are arranged in order of size, with the smallest sea, the Ligurian, being the name of our most exclusive tier.

The tier system is automatic, so you don't need to do anything to move up a tier. You just need to spend more nights on board.

For more information, see our article ‘What do I need to know about Peninsular Club reward tiers?

Please note that the points you accumulate can’t be used like, for instance, a supermarket loyalty card. Instead, they reflect which tier you’re in.

What are the benefits of the Peninsular Club?

The benefits you receive from being a member of the Peninsular Club will vary as you progress through the Peninsular Club tiers. The higher the tier, the more benefits.

We reward our guests with benefits ashore, on board and at our home port. Benefits can include, but are not limited to:

  • Exclusive discounts – Save money with member-only discounts on selected cruise holidays, a discount on travel insurance, plus an on-board discount in shops, bars and more.

  • Special benefits – Priority check-in, priority arrival time, a ‘welcome on board’ reception, priority disembarkation and more.

  • Events and gifts – You'll be invited to exclusive events on board, receive complimentary Champagne and other gifts, and have the Peninsular Club ‘Moments’ magazine delivered to your home.

How do I join or qualify for the Peninsular Club?

Joining or qualifying for the Peninsular Club happens automatically once you’ve accumulated 150 points or more. You earn 10 points for each night spent on a P&O Cruises ship. So, to qualify, you must have spent 15 nights on a P&O Cruises ship. This can be accumulated by going on multiple cruise holidays or one longer cruise holiday that lasts at least 15 nights.

Please note: to collect loyalty points on all future cruise holidays with us, you must use the same My Account Number we gave you on your first P&O Cruises holiday. To find out more information on what a My Account Number is, click here.

If you’ve been on multiple cruises and used numerous Account Numbers, and you now want to claim all your loyalty points, please see our article ‘How can I fix a problem with my Peninsular Club account?’.

How do I view my Peninsular Club account online?

As a P&O Cruises Peninsular Club member, you can view your account and access various services online, including viewing your loyalty information and cruise history. Visit My Account and log in. If you haven’t registered for a My Account yet, click the ‘Register’ button and fill out your details. To find your loyalty information, you’ll need your My Account Number handy, which is what is automatically created for you when you book a cruise. You can find it in the top-right corner of any loyalty emails we’ve sent you.

For more information on logging in and registering with My Account to view your Peninsular Club account online, please see 'How do I log in or register for a Peninsular Club account online?'

Will family members qualify for the Peninsular Club?

Any guest who sails with P&O Cruises will automatically become a Peninsular Club member after spending 15 nights on board, even if they are not the person who booked the holiday.

This also applies to guests aged:

  • 16 to 18 years – they’re entitled to the same benefits as adults, except alcohol will be substituted by a non-alcoholic alternative.

  • 17 and under – they’ll receive a gift designed specifically for their age group, and the on-board discount will be appropriate to their tier level.

Please note: your child’s on-board discount is not transferable to your own account.
