Approximately 4.00 hours.
Get a flavour for the stunning scenery, wonderful wines and customary crafts of La Palma.
Soak up the beautiful views as you drive through vineyards and lava streams, passing pine forests and small villages on your journey south to the famous wine region of Fuencaliente. Behold the San Antonio volcano and, conditions permitting, walk over the crater border before taking a look around the intriguing visitor centre.
Settle down for a tasting of regional red and white wines at a typical local bodega. If you fall in love with a particular flavour, why not buy a bottle to take home? Then, head to Cerámica el Molino, in the picturesque coastal town of Villa de Mazo. Here, reproductions of traditional Benahoare pottery are made by artisans in a meticulously restored windmill. Stroll around the ceramics museum and pick up a souvenir.
