Frequently asked questions about Britannia
During the day, you can dress in whatever you like. However, on all our ships, we have two dress codes that apply in the evenings: Evening Casual and Black Tie. Nights where the dress code is Evening Casual, you can bring out your best shirt, dress and smart, dark denim. For nights where the dress code is Black Tie, make sure to pack your best tux, suit or cocktail dress.
There are some venues on each ship where dress codes don’t apply, so make sure to check your Horizon paper that’s delivered to your cabin each day to check where these are, as they vary ship by ship. For those travelling on family-friendly ships, dress codes also don’t apply to children aged 12 and under.
Britannia has a normal operating capacity of 3,647 guests and 1,350 crew.
Britannia has accommodation to suit everyone. She’s home to 1,837 cabins including 448 Inside, 1,206 Balcony, 92 Superior Deluxe Balcony, 64 Suite and 27 Single cabins.

There are nine different restaurants on board Britannia, including Freedom and Club dining options, plus coffee shops and cafés where you might enjoy a snack. You could treat yourself to a speciality dining experience at a venue such as Sindhu, which offers a menu of finely balanced spices, The Glass House with its small plates and perfectly paired wines, or The Limelight Club, where dinner is accompanied by top-notch live entertainment. For a more informal meal, head to the Horizon buffet and savour flavours from around the world or try the poolside pizzeria and grill.
