Ventura is a family-friendly favourite and a brilliant all-rounder. Whether you’re on board for a few days or a few weeks, you’ll find endless ways to be enchanted and entertained. To keep her looking ship shape – and to make your next holiday even more memorable – we recently treated Ventura to a refit that refreshed the look and feel of some key areas on board. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the changes. And stay tuned in March when we take an even deeper dive into Ventura’s new look.

Refit highlights

Cabins and Suites
We focused on upgrading Ventura’s accommodation to make your holiday even more stylish and comfortable. Expect new carpet, curtains, bedside lampshades and armchairs in warm, neutral tones in all cabins and Suites. In Suites, look out for new decorative ceiling lights and new desk and bedside lamps. We’ve given the bathrooms and balconies a refresh too, and there are new carpets in the hallways, lift cars, lobbies and stairs.

The Atrium
The heart of Ventura has been suitably spruced up with a smart new dance-floor design featuring marquetry-effect planks, timber colouring and timber finishes. Keep an eye out for details inspired by symbols of Tyche, the Greek goddess of chance, and Fortuna, her Roman counterpart.

Bars

In the sophisticated Red Bar, cushions, curtains and wall coverings have been enhanced with a new colour palette that captures the opulence of a ruby’s deep red, with subtle accents of sapphire blue and champagne. In Tamarind Club, a new colour palette on cushions, banquettes and lounge chairs draws from the coolness of mint and the deep warmth of tamarind. The vibrant energy of the Cuban capital is brought to life in Havana through new carpets and chair upholstery that take inspiration from the city’s architecture, vintage travel posters and palm trees. And in Metropolis, new upholstery on armchairs, lounge chairs and benches, and new coffee tables reflect the rhythm of city grid lines and skyscrapers. All deck bars have had touch-ups, too, including refreshed bar façades and flooring.

Restaurants

New carpets in Sindhu are inspired by the Indian textile art of block printing, and the deep red tones and patterns inspired by traditional henna, bringing a sense of warmth. In Bay Tree and Saffron, Ventura’s Freedom and Club dining restaurants, new carpets bring a warm, bright aesthetic. All chairs in Epicurean have been reupholstered, while in Waterside buffet and The Beach House, you’ll find fresh carpeting.

Arena Theatre

The new look of Ventura’s two-tier, 800-seat venue takes after Greek theatres with geometric patterns, curved seating and symmetry. New carpet design in shades of cherry red and tonal layering on new seat upholstery combines punchy colours with pattern to add drama and grandeur – exactly what a night at the theatre calls for.

Oasis Spa and Salon

We’ve installed a new Japanese head spa, with three unique rituals to relax, restore and elevate hair and scalp health. New hair stations will add oomph to your next updo, and the spa’s look and feel has had a makeover, too: think geometric tiles softened with gentle detailing and a refreshing backdrop created by blending soft neutrals with warm tones.

Photo Gallery
A new carpet design runs through the gallery, with a concept that evokes the beauty of a sunlit walk on the beach: the natural flow between warm, golden sands shimmering under the sun, lush coastal vegetation, rippling water and the fluid transitions of colour and light.

Retail
We’ve made the shopping experience even more seamless with new seating areas, consultation desks and dedicated service zones. On deck 7, we’ve introduced a new premium watch lounge; a new fashion watch store; and a new fine jewellery store. On deck 6, a dedicated fashion jewellery store has been introduced.
