Ventura is a family-friendly favourite and a brilliant all-rounder with something for everyone. She spends her time sailing near and far, from Northern Europe to the Canary Islands to the Caribbean. And whether you’re on board for a few days or a few weeks, you’ll find endless ways to be enchanted and entertained. To keep her looking ship shape, Ventura was treated to a refit in February that refreshed the look and feel of some key areas on board. It’s all designed to elevate, enhance and make your next holiday even more memorable.

Here’s a look at the key areas that have been refitted

Cabins and Suites

Your cabin is your sanctuary, so we focused on upgrading Ventura’s accommodation to make your holiday even more stylish and comfortable. Expect new carpet, curtains, bedside lampshades and armchairs in warm, neutral tones in all cabins and Suites. In Suites, look out for new decorative ceiling lights and new desk and beside lamps. We’ve given the bathrooms and balconies a refresh too, and there are new carpets in the hallways, lift cars, lobbies and stairs.

The Atrium

The Atrium is the heart of Ventura, where magical mornings and unforgettable evenings unfold. It has been suitably spruced up with a smart new dance-floor design featuring marquetry-effect planks, timber colouring and timber finishes. The inspiration comes from symbols of Tyche, the Greek goddess of chance, and Fortuna, her Roman counterpart – keep an eye out for details inspired by braided wheat spikes, ship sails and crowns.

Bars

Red Bar

The sophisticated surrounds of Red Bar are perfect for a pre-dinner glass of Champagne. Cushions, curtains and wall coverings have been enhanced with a new colour palette that captures the opulence of a ruby’s deep red, with subtle accents of sapphire blue and a touch of champagne to add warmth and sophistication.

Tamarind Club

The day-to-night venue is an alluring space for entertainment, dancing or simply lounging with a cocktail. A new colour palette on cushions, banquettes and lounge chairs draws from the refreshing coolness of mint and the deep warmth of tamarind to elevate this inviting, exotic space.

Havana

The vibrant colours and sultry energy of the Cuban capital are brought to life in Havana, Ventura’s nightclub and show lounge, where the mojitos are ice cold and the dance floor is always hot. New carpets and chair upholstery take inspiration from the city’s architecture, the timeless charm of vintage travel posters and the lush leaves of palm trees, making your next night out even more magical.

Metropolis

Whether it’s for an after-dinner cocktail or to savour some live jazz with a backdrop of beautiful sea views, the sophisticated surrounds of Metropolis make for a cosmopolitan evening. New upholstery on armchairs, lounge chairs and benches, and new coffee tables reflect the rhythm of city grid lines, the structured façades of skyscrapers and the interplay of light and shadow on glass and stone. The result is a refined yet inviting aesthetic – a perfect match for those extraordinary views.

Deck bars

For laid-back afternoons and sunny days spent lounging by the pool, Ventura’s deck bars are the place to be. On the Lido deck you’ll find Laguna and Beachcomber, each set around a pool, jacuzzi and deck chairs with sunlight streaming in from above. Terrace Bar is on the Lido Deck too, overlooking its pool on the level below. And you’ll find the open-air Breakers Bar on the Sun Deck, the perfect place to soak up the sun and sea breezes.

  • Laguna Bar and Grill The bar was refreshed with new façade tiling in a sunny blue hue, new flooring in complementary colours and a new graphic print on the back of the bar, plus upgrades to the pool and jacuzzi.

  • Beachcomber Bar Beachcomber’s bar façade brings warmth with caramel tones that harmonise with the cool blue paint. The pool façade, meanwhile, is clad in a refined resin finish, creating a harmonious and sophisticated design.

  • Terrace Bar Keeping in the same colour family, the tiling and ceiling of Terrace Bar have been updated to a soft turquoise with a white-and-blue speckled floor.

  • Breakers Bar A similar colour palette was added to Breakers, with rich butterscotch-hued tiling, a blue painted ceiling and a blue speckled floor.

Restaurants

Sindhu

Sindhu is a favourite with guests not only on Ventura, but across the fleet, thanks to its warm ambience and menu full of authentic, contemporary Indian flavours. New carpets in Sindhu feature a traditional design that reflects the restaurant’s authenticity. The inspiration comes from the Indian textile art form of block printing, in which artisans carve intricate patterns onto wooden blocks which are then dipped in natural dyes and stamped onto fabrics. The rhythmic, mesmerising motifs, with their slight imperfections of hand-printing, bring a sense of warmth. Deep red tones and patterns are inspired by traditional Indian henna, while a natural woven texture adds depth.

Bay Tree

Ventura’s Freedom and Club dining restaurant is a laid-back place to dine, and its extensive makeover fuses existing design elements with new flair to achieve a sense of balance and cohesion. New carpets merge abstract patterning with a delicate watercolour effect, resulting in a softer, more fluid aesthetic. New chairs and banquette upholstery combine bold, dark colours with softer earth tones, creating a soft yet dramatic visual effect.

Saffron

Saffron, one of the world’s most precious spices, is the inspiration behind the Freedom and Club restaurant’s new look. New carpets feature textured brush strokes and a natural palette with warm undertones and vibrant pastel hues. The entry to the restaurant has been revitalised with light marble-effect tiles, creating a bright and airy welcome.

Entertainment and more

Arena Theatre

Holiday memories are made in the Arena Theatre, Ventura’s two-tier, 800-seat venue where you can catch captivating concerts, hilarious comedy and incredible shows. Its new look is inspired by ancient Greek theatres with geometric patterns, curved seating and symmetry. New carpet design in varying shades of cherry red is inspired by the juxtaposition of rhythmic shapes to abstracted curves and staggered steps, while tonal layering on new seat upholstery combines punchy colours with pattern to add drama and grandeur – exactly what a night at the theatre calls for.

Oasis Spa and Salon

Oasis Spa and Salon is a haven of tranquillity. And with its serene new look – and a sensational new salon experience – you’ll feel even more at peace while being pampered. Following in Iona’s footsteps, we’ve installed a new Japanese head spa – a sensorial journey to relax, restore and elevate hair and scalp health with three unique head spa rituals. New hair stations will add oomph to your next updo, and the spa’s look and feel has had a makeover too: think geometric tiles softened with gentle detailing and a refreshing backdrop created by blending soft neutrals with warm tones, bringing harmony to the overall palette.

Photo Gallery

A new carpet design runs through the gallery, with a concept that evokes the beauty of a sunlit walk on the beach: the seamless flow between warm, golden sands shimmering under the sun, lush coastal vegetation, rippling water and the fluid transitions of colour and light. The result is calming, fresh and natural.

Retail

Whether you’re stocking up on essentials or treating yourself to something luxurious, shopping on Ventura offers style and value in equal measure. We’ve made the experience even more seamless with new seating areas, consultation desks and dedicated service zones. On deck 7, we’ve introduced a new premium watch lounge featuring Tag Heuer, Longines and Rado; a new fashion watch store with key brands such as Citizen, Bulova, Tissot, and Frédérique Constant; and a new fine jewellery store that brings together timeless jewellery pieces alongside standout statement designs, complemented by engaging, hosted moments to help you discover each collection more deeply. On deck 6, a dedicated fashion jewellery store has been introduced, anchored by Pandora and Swarovski alongside other key brands.
