Available on board Arvia, Iona and Britannia, acts at The Limelight Club are available to book a couple of weeks before departure. Each sailing offers something different, but the experience remains the same: an elegant, cabaret‑style night of dinner and live entertainment in a venue purpose‑built for atmosphere. With attentive service, a specially crafted three‑course menu and a warm, glamorous setting, it’s a night guests return to.

Chesney Hawkes


Chesney Hawkes was only a teenager when he became an overnight sensation with his debut single. And in the years that have followed, Chesney has proven that he is still ‘The One and Only’ as he continues to headline major festival and TV shows throughout the country, with over1200 headline appearances on the TV and radio.

 

Kerry Ellis

Kerry Ellis originated Meat in We Will Rock You and was the first British Elphaba in Wicked (West End/Broadway), winning multiple awards. Her leading roles include Oliver!, My Fair Lady, and Les Misérables. A long-time collaborator of Brian May, her debut album Anthems reached No.15 in the UK. She has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Variety Show, and the Queen’s Jubilee.

Paul Sinah

Paul Sinha is an award-winning comedian and broadcaster but that’s a long way from where he first started. A bright pupil at school, Paul went on to qualify as a doctor and worked in hospitals and as a GP, however stand-up comedy was his true calling.

 

He’s appeared on Taskmaster, QI, The Hit List and Would I Lie To You? amongst many other programmes. Quiz enthusiasts may know that he’s competed on Mastermind, The Weakest Link and University Challenge – The Professionals, but most will know Paul’s quiz expertise from his role as one of the Chasers on ITV’s ever-popular tea-time quiz show, The Chase.  

 

Joe McElderry

South Shields-born Joe McElderry won The X Factor in 2009 before releasing several albums and winning both Popstar to Operastar and The Jump. A versatile stage performer, he has starred in Joseph, Tommy, and Club Tropicana. Known for his vocal range and upbeat energy, Joe’s career spans a decade of hit tours. In 2022, he began touring Freedom, a tribute to the music of George Michael.

 

Louise & Laura

West End stars Louise Dearman and Laura Pitt-Pulford unite in a spectacular celebration of song and sisterhood. Featuring powerhouse vocals and spellbinding storytelling from two of the West End’s finest leading ladies. Louise, the only actress to play both Elphaba and Glinda in Wicked, joins Olivier-nominated Laura to showcase the roles that made them stars.

 

Aimie Atkinson

Olivier award nominee and winner of the BBC voice of Musical Theatre Aimie Atkinson brings an unforgettable night of stunning songs and stories from her illustrious Career in London’s West end. From starring as Vivian ward in Pretty Woman to originating the role of Katherine Howard in the global phenomenon SIX this is a night not to be missed.

How to see who’s performing on your cruise

We release our lineup of Limelight Club performers for each P&O Cruises sailing 14 days before departure. Unfortunately, last minute cancellations and changes can occur, (due to illness and personal circumstances), of course. Whatever happens, though, you can be sure of top acts and top nights at The Limelight Club.

 

To view the acts especially curated for your cruise:

 

1.  Log in to My P&O Cruises  (from two weeks before your sailing date)

2.  Go to ‘Dining and drinks’ in the second menu bar, then click on ‘Dining’

3. The landing page will display all restaurants available on your cruise, as well as a tile specifically for The Limelight Club and the individual shows you can enjoy.

4. Click on ‘Book now’ or ‘View details’ to view more information for the acts scheduled during your cruise

5.  You can now make your booking, choosing the number of guests, accessibility needs and date and time you’d like to join us

6.  Once happy with your booking, click ‘Add to basket’.

7.  A pop-up confirmation will appear in the upper right hand of the screen.

8.  Be sure to complete the checkout process to reserve your booking

With limited capacity, early booking is encouraged once availability opens. A cover charge is applicable as part of the venue’s speciality dining experience.
