A cruise holiday is perfect for a solo traveller to meet new people. Some cruises offer solo guests complimentary activities specifically for those travelling alone so they can meet and get to know one another, such as coffee mornings and drink receptions. There will also be plenty of chances to meet other people when you dine or go on shore experiences. And don’t forget, if you want some alone time, there are plenty of options for this too! Enjoy a spot of room service in your cabin or head to the on-board spa if you feel like rejuvenating with a treatment.

A solo cruise can really take the stress out of travelling, and perhaps make you feel a little safer; you can relax in the knowledge that you don’t have to dine alone or explore the sights on your own, unless you want to of course!

Choosing your cruise accommodation

We have a range of accommodation options for you to choose from as a solo traveller and, no matter the cabin you choose, you won’t be disappointed. In every cabin, you’ll have a comfortable bed for the perfect night’s sleep after a long day exploring, plenty of space to store your belongings and your own en-suite bathroom.

There are many fantastic options for you to choose from including single cabins, Sea View cabins and Balcony cabins. Whatever your preference or needs, we have the perfect cabin for you.

As a solo traveller, you might prefer a single cabin. With everything you could need, our single cabins offer you plenty of space and are full of the luxuries to make it a home away from home. Depending on your cruise and on the ship, our single rooms are available as Inside, Sea View and Balcony cabins, with more information to be found on each ship guide here.

If you’d like a little more space, we can offer bigger rooms with king-sized beds with a Sea view or Balcony. Plus, in some of our rooms such as Mini-suites and Suites, there’s a little more luxury with a spacious lounge area, complimentary Champagne and chocolates on arrival, butler service, a bathrobe and slippers, and a whirlpool bath to relax in: plenty of space and little touches to make your solo cruise even more special.

And if you’re wondering, ‘Can I choose my exact cabin?’ the answer is yes! During the booking process, you can use Select Price to choose the exact location of your cabin, subject to availability.
