2. How about car parking in Southampton?

There is parking available at the terminal, but it needs to be pre-booked. Details of airport parking facilities can be found and booked through Holiday Extras via My P&O Cruises, once you've made a booking. Alternatively, please discuss your options when booking. Or why not hop on a coach or train to Southampton and let someone else do the driving while you relax.

3. And there’s plenty to do in Southampton too!

Southampton is a foodie’s dream. There are restaurants dotted all over the city. For something a little different, head for the Oxford Road area. Or, for some true family favourites, the new West Quay food has it all. And like all great UK cities, Southampton is awash with shops of all types and sizes, from all the usual High Street big name brands, to smaller, specialist boutique stores. Head for West Quay shopping Centre – just minutes from the terminal – where everything, including a food hall, is under one roof.

For some history and culture, why not visit SeaCity Museum for a closer look at the city’s seafaring past if you have a day to spare. Or why not head for the Tudor House and Garden (a Tudor period home, carefully preserved and restored.
