From P&O Cruises very own corner of the red carpet at Grosvenor House, Jeff caught up with guests and discussed everything from the special alchemy of Pride of Britain to the inspirations in their own lives. These chats captured the mood of the night: heartfelt, joyful and moving.

At any awards show, the red carpet is half the fun – the first stop, the catwalk, the place where excitement builds and bubbles over. The red carpet at the Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards with P&O Cruises was no exception.

At Grosvenor House in London’s Mayfair, the rainclouds parted just in time for the night’s guests to make their way down the red carpet, waving to the cameras and greeting each other with warm smiles and hugs. Some of Britain’s favourite famous faces were in attendance: Strictly judges and pro dancers, actors such as Michael Sheen and Helen Flanagan, presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard and Prime Minister Kier Starmer and his wife Victoria, to name but a few. But none shone brighter than the winners, who glowed as they enjoyed their moment in the spotlight.
