Your journey

Before you get your cameras at the ready, you’re going to need to get in the zone. Kick back, relax and make the most of our luxury Cruise ships that will carry you to the beautiful Fjords in style.

With a bustling calendar of onboard events like live music and theatre, sumptuous dining and on-deck bars, there’s plenty of snap-worthy moments to capture before we head towards the Fjords. After all, this is the only holiday where the travel is just as exciting as the destinations.

On every cruise to the Norwegian Fjords, you’ll be stopping at several locations that have plenty of culture, history and entertainment on offer.

Alta and Tromsø (Northern Lights)

We can’t start anywhere else. The Northern Lights are the jewel in the crown of our popular Norwegian Fjords cruise holidays - and rightly so. They have to be seen to be believed. With our carefully curated travel to the beautiful Norwegian destinations of Alta and Tromsø, you’ll have the best chance of catching the lights and getting the perfect picture for social media.

Bergen

A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Northern Europe’s oldest port cities, Bergen is picturesque in every sense. Its compact city centre sits between mountains, fjords and a wide stretch of coastline, which means you’re never far from a good viewpoint or a moment worth photographing.

There’s plenty to do here too, for solo travellers as well as families, with bijou galleries to visit, cool cafés and charming boutiques, as well as plenty of bars and restaurants.

Olden

Olden is home to a beautiful fjordic coastline, towering mountains and the largest glacier on mainland Europe, Jostedalsbreen. If that’s not worthy of a picture, we’re not sure what is!

Guests can easily access both the Briksdal and Kjenndalen glaciers, plunging dramatically into the valleys below. If you’re feeling brave, Lake Oldevatnet is crystal clear and ready for you to take a swim and get a snap with an unrivalled panoramic view. That view is even better from the Loen Skylift.

Geirangerfjord

Geirangerfjord shows you nature at its finest. Mountains soar above you, up to 1,700 metres, and water drops to a depth of 260 metres beneath your feet.

This is only a cruise by, so you’ll be passing through when you get the opportunity to take your pictures. But don’t worry, there’s plenty to capture, with deep blue waters, towering mountains and cascading waterfalls.

If you’re travelling with little ones, you may like to tell them that Geirangerfjord was the inspiration for Frozen!

Stavanger and Lysefjord

To break from the scenery, why not visit Stavanger? A busy city full of museums, galleries, it’s a former European Capital of Culture, with a rich tapestry of history and culture waiting to be explored on your Nordic cruise. Whilst visiting Stavanger, just down the road, you’ll find Lysefjord, a jaw-dropping landscape that will make the perfect background for your next selfie.
