Frequently asked questions about Aurora
During the day, you can dress in whatever you like. However, on all our ships, we have two dress codes that apply in the evenings: Evening Casual and Black Tie. Nights where the dress code is Evening Casual, you can bring out your best shirt, dress and smart, dark denim. For nights where the dress code is Black Tie, make sure to pack your best tux, suit or cocktail dress.
There are some venues on each ship where dress codes don’t apply, so make sure to check your Horizon paper that’s delivered to your cabin each day to check where these are, as they vary ship by ship.
Aurora has a normal operating capacity of 1,874 guests and 850 crew.
Aurora has accommodation to suit everyone. She’s home to 962 cabins including 288 Inside, 253 Sea view, 280 Balcony, 101 Deluxe Balcony, 18 Mini-suite, 12 Suite, 10 Single cabins.

You can take your pick from six restaurants, including the Freedom and Club restaurants which offer flavours from around the world and favourites from home at almost any time of the day. If you’re keen to experience speciality dining, try The Glass House, Sindhu or The Beach House. And for something more casual, head to the Horizon buffet restaurant or Lido Grill, which is out on deck.
Yes, you can enjoy Freedom or Club dining in the Alexandria and Medina Restaurants aboard Aurora, as well as speciality dining in other venues.

Yes, The Playhouse cinema. Here, you can settle into one of 213 spacious and comfortable seats and watch feature films which are shown throughout the day and into the evening. This is also the venue for guest talks and other events, and the view of the screen/stage is great from every seat.
