Iona’s Grand Atrium sits on decks 6, 7 and 8 and boasts three-deck-high glazed walls and a contemporary design that brings uninterrupted panoramic sea views and natural light into the space.

Frequently asked questions about Iona
During the day, you can dress in whatever you like. However, on all our ships, we have two dress codes that apply in the evenings: Evening Casual and Black Tie. Nights where the dress code is Evening Casual, you can bring out your best shirt, dress and smart, dark denim. For nights where the dress code is Black Tie, make sure to pack your best tux, suit or cocktail dress.
There are some venues on each ship where dress codes don’t apply, so make sure to check your Horizon paper that’s delivered to your cabin each day to check where these are, as they vary ship by ship. For those travelling on family-friendly ships, dress codes also don’t apply to children aged 12 and under.
Iona has a normal operating capacity of 5,200 guests and 1,800 crew.
Iona has accommodation to suit everyone. She’s home to 2,614 cabins including 811 Inside, 174 Sea view, 1,366 Balcony, 120 Deluxe Balcony, 95 Conservatory Mini-suite, 24 Suite, 22 Single and 2 Family cabins.
Iona is a family-friendly ship and offers age specific children’s clubs on board.
Please note: Due to public health regulations, children in nappies, swim nappies, pull-ups or who are not completely toilet trained are only permitted to use the zero depth part of the infinity Pool (Deck 16,aft) and the SkyDome Pool (Deck 16).

Iona offers Freedom dining exclusively in the Pearl, Coral, Aqua and Opal restaurants. Speciality dining experiences are also available in several other venues, plus there are snack bars, cafés and other options on board.
There’s a world of flavours to explore on board Iona. Four different Freedom restaurants offer dishes from around the world while the Horizon buffet is the ideal place for an informal meal at almost any time of day. Taste 360 serves up delicious street-food-style bites and some venues have special menus created by our Local Food Heroes with dishes inspired by the destinations you visit. Keen to treat yourself to a speciality dining experience? Check out the Keel and Cow for aged steaks and gourmet burgers, catch dinner with a show at The Limelight Club or enjoy small plates with perfectly paired wines at The Glass House.
Balconies on Iona vary from 3 to 32 square metres, depending on the cabin type and location. To find out about the size of the balcony for a specific cabin, feel free to call us on 0344 338 8003.
Iona's godmother is owner and chair of Hays Travel Group Dame Irene Hays. Dame Irene named Iona when the ship entered service in May 2021.
