Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands are rightly famed for their abundant sunshine and sandy shores but on a cruise holiday to these dynamic destinations with Iona, you’ll discover so much more…

Iona’s seven-night Northern European City Escapes take in a range of standout cities in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. With late calls and overnight stays, you’ve more time to explore and relax.

Iona's highlights

Enjoy incredible wining and dining

On Iona, good food is an art form. With 30 different venues across the ship to choose from, there’s something for everyone, whatever the mood or time of day. Plus in a fleet first, Iona is the first ship to offer exclusively Freedom Dining.

See extraordinary entertainment

Let us entertain you like never before. Head for entertainment hub SkyDome, home to top acts and live shows. In the Grand Atrium, aerialists and pop-up performances will add drama to your days and nights, while Headliners theatre is the home of exciting shows for all the family.

Feel good with spa and salon services

Your cruise ship is home to Oasis Spa and salon – the focal point for rest and rejuvenation. Soothe away life’s stresses and strains in a hydrotherapy suite, feel good from top to toe with a range of premium therapies and book a stress-busting massage or beauty treatment.

A world of shopping choice

Prepare for a shopper’s paradise on your cruise. Our most innovative ship yet boasts a beautifully designed area that takes shopping at sea to new levels of style and choice. With a wide range of outlets on board, take your time to find a well-deserved treat or two.

Explore amazing spaces and special places

Iona’s facilities are nothing short of amazing, and with so much to choose from, you’ll need a little time to find your feet. The ship is designed to let the outdoors in and create an atmosphere of space, light and calm, most notably in the stunning public areas.

Get active: on your own or with the family

Pick up on hobbies and interests you love but don’t usually have time to do. Or perhaps now is the time to try something new? Swim al fresco or under the SkyDome’s glass roof; relax and take in the ocean from an infinity pool or whirlpool; play table tennis, football and basketball, among other sporting pursuits.

Fantastic cruise on a beautiful ship.

We have travelled with P&O many times before and have always enjoyed our holidays with them. Iona was a beautiful ship. All crew were really helpful. Black tie nights are really enjoyable. Everything was very clean and we felt really comfortable with hygiene standards throughout the ship. One slight... Read more

Excellent food. In view of the Covid situation we were concerned at the number of people allowed in the lifts at any one time, especially as so much attention was given to guests leaving the shows - one row at a time. We enjoyed the entertainment, especially the 4 Tunes and the Headliners second s... Read more

The only thing that spoiled it for me personally is the fact that there was no dancing in the evening. A lot of the guests mentioned this point. If you like to dance, don’t choose the I... Read more

Excellent for P&O financially but not good for the customer. Disappointed

Narrow cabin ( very little room between end of bed and wall.) No drawer space. Unable to book meals in number of restaurants Fully booked every night between 6.00pm and 8.30pm over period of 10 days so unable try the specialist food.
