From buffets to poolside snack bars, these casual spots are the perfect places to stop by and tuck into a tasty bite. With options available all day and even late at night, you can enjoy delicious dishes whenever you feel peckish.

Horizon buffet

Whatever you fancy, whatever the time of day, head for the Horizon Restaurant. The all-day dining venue offers an incredible variety of food from home and around the world to suit every appetite and dietary need. The self-service restaurant is spacious, elegant and relaxed, with ocean vistas on the side.

The Quays

Head to The Quays for informal dining options to suit every mood. This multi-venue dining piazza offers an amazing array of eateries and restaurants and is a lively hub for socialising over food and watching the world go by. There’s a fun street-food atmosphere with plenty of buzz, theatre and colour adding to the beachfront promenade vibe. With access onto the Promenade Deck, outdoor dining is available too. It’s all about flexible, fun, family-friendly food – the perfect place for a quick snack, light lunch or informal dinner.

The Olive Grove

Everyone loves the sunshine, and here we serve it up, Mediterranean style, all day long. Pull up a chair and take your pick from the region’s iconic favourites, from Spanish paella to Moroccan lamb tagine and grazing boards of tasty regional specialities –all perfect for enjoying with friends and family.

The Beach House

For relaxed dining, this family favourite always gets the thumbs up. Easy does it for Caribbean and Southern American classics with a playful twist. From hanging kebabs and sizzling cook-your-own steaks to delectable chocolate fondues, you’ll want to dive right in.

Ripples

Find scoopfuls of holiday happiness at this family-friendly gelateria. Snowflake Luxury Gelato blends the best of British and Italian cultures in a range of artisan flavours. A traditional coneswith your choice of toppings? A gelato afternoon tea, cookie or sundae? With so many treats, you’re sure to be back for more.

Vistas Café Bar

Feast your eyes on sea views as you savour exquisite sweet treats from master pâtissier Eric Lanlard, invigorating Costa coffees and a selection of teapigs™teas. In this buzzing location at the heart of the ship you’ll also be treated to pop-up performances and daring displays from aerial artists.

From light bites to decadent dinners, there’s a menu for every appetite. You’ll find traditional British favourites and exotic world flavours available throughout the day, as well as special dishes created by our Food Heroes.

Sindhu

Prepare your taste buds for a flavour-filled adventure. In stylish and sumptuous surroundings, Sindhu’s expert chefs will take you on a delicately spiced odyssey that celebrates the best of contemporary Indian cuisines. You can also make a date on sea daysto enjoy a delicious tiffin-style lunch.

The Glass House

Sit back with a glass of specially selected wine as daring aerial artists perform before your eyes. Thiswelcoming and sophisticated wine bar boasts a prime spot in the Grand Atrium, a cracking selection of world wines hand-picked by wine expert Olly Smith and delicious food.

The Keel and Cow

From breakfast till late, this is the place to relax with friends, beautifully crafted gastropub food and a fine collection of draught and bottled beers and craft ales. Will it be our signature burger, classic fish and chips, pie and mash or a prime steak from the dry-aging fridge? Hard choices. Great food.

Served with entertainment

Visit one of these unique venues and you might be treated to the sounds of a lively cabaret band or a solo singer during a sumptuous three-course dinner. Or you could hear secrets from the career of a famous chef while watching them create a mouth-watering meal.

The Limelight Club

This supper-club venue is a fixed favourite. After the daytime dancing classes, The Limelight Club is the place to be for adult-only evening dining and entertainment. The club exclusively hosts established and emerging vocalists and is the dedicated venue for resident performers and the house band. As the entertainment gets underway, guests enjoy a unique dining experience: it starts with a welcome drink before a themed multi-course menu is served at intervals throughout the show.

Eric Lanlard's Afternoon Tea

Treat yourself to an afternoon of delicious indulgence. Head to Epicurean to feast on playfully decadent treats from creative genius and master pâtissier Eric Lanlard. Taking classic afternoon teato unexpected new heights, Eric’s sweet and savoury surprises are served with a wide array of speciality teas.

The Chef’s Table,

Don your finery for an exclusive evening of fine dining. On Celebration Nights, The Chef’s Table celebrates British and regional cuisines with a unique menu created by Marco Pierre White and Eric Lanlard, and wine selected by Olly Smith. Say chin-chin at the pre-dinner cocktail party in SkyDome, then let your foodie treat begin.

We know that great food lies at the heart of a great holiday. That’s why we work with the brightest lights of the culinary scene, our Food Heroes, to bring you innovative, delicious menus and exclusive foodie experiences. Our brand new ship Iona offers over 30 places to wine and dine and our Food Heroes will be joining selected Iona holidays to the fjords.

The godfather of British cooking Marco Pierre White

Known the world over, Marco Pierre White has pushed the boundaries of cuisine for over 30 years. In the 1990s he took the restaurant scene by storm, becoming the youngest ever chef to be awarded three Michelin stars. Today, Marco’s passion for serving up superb dishes continues with P&O Cruises. On Iona, he will host interactive cooking shows as well as Q&A sessions, serving up answers to all of your culinary qualms.

Make a date with master pâtissier Eric Lanlard

Master pâtissier Eric Lanlard has earned himself an international reputation for superlative baked creations. He is, according to Vanity Fair magazine, one of the best pâtissiers in the world. Visit Vistas Café Bar on Iona to sample his fine pâtisseries and you’ll soon see why. Afternoon Tea by Eric Lanlard is also not to be missed. On Iona, you can join Eric himself for Afternoon Tea, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get up close and personal with the master pâtissier.

Wine adventures you’ll love with Olly Smith

The irrepressible, award-winning wine expert and passionate foodie, Olly Smith heads up The Glass House restaurant and bar with P&O Cruises. In The Glass House, he brings the world of wine to you – varieties from all four corners of the globe, by the glass, by the bottle, and if you fancy, by a plate of fabulous food. And you’ll find The Glass House is now available on Iona, too! You can even join Olly on an authentic foodie experience ashore when travelling on Iona.

We know the power food can have to turn a good day into a great one. One of the best ways to explore a destination is to try the native dishes that tell stories of the history, culture and lives of the locals. We’re collaborating with local leading chefs to bring these incredible food experiences to your holiday on board Iona.

Our Local Food Heroes will bring the taste of the fjords to Iona’s summer holidays to Norway, and the thrill of the tapas trail to her winter breaks to Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands. With locally sourced ingredients, traditional recipes and menus brimming with authentic flavours,you can continue your exploration through your taste buds.

The Epicurean

On Iona’s holidays to the Norwegian Fjords, the flavours of the region will spring to life in The Epicurean with a six-course taster menu created exclusively for Iona by Local Food Hero and award-winning chef, Kjartan Skjelde. A champion of Norwegian fine dining and local produce, Kjartan is bringing Nordic fine dining on board.

The Glass House

On Iona’s holidays to Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands, The Glass House will host an authentic Spanish tapas menu, created by renowned Spanish chef, José Pizarro. With ingredients and recipes unique to the region, you can taste the flavours of your holiday in the stylish surroundings of The Glass House.

Main restaurants

On Iona’s holidays to the Norwegian Fjords, you can enjoy authentic, home- style Norwegian dishes across the menus of the main restaurants. These will be created exclusively for Iona by our Local Food Hero, Marte Marie Forsberg, writer, photographer and home-cook. Marte Marie’s traditional Norwegian dishes will bring the region alive on board.

Taste 360

One of Iona’s signature venues, Taste 360 is a street food style dining experience on deck, where you can take in the panoramic views while trying different flavours from around the globe with our rotating menus. José will create exciting Spanish flavours for Iona’s holidays to Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands. In Norway, Marte Marie will create traditional, home-style food for you to try.
