Family Holidays

We know a happy family means a happy holiday. From zip-lining through treetops to making Wallace and Gromit models on our family-friendly ships, there’s everything to keep the little ones (and those not so little) entertained. With P&O Cruises, every day on holiday will bring unforgettable family adventures both on board and ashore.

What better way to spend quality time together than a short trip to the Canary Islands with your family? Our family ships hold an amazing atmosphere and bring that homely feel wherever you sail. Our Shore Experiences team will make sure you enjoy every day to the fullest. With activities for the whole family when you’re on shore as well as plenty to do on our ships!

Family Cruise Ships

  Arvia    Iona    Britannia    Ventura     Azura

We have five family cruising ships, this leaves you a large variety to choose from when making your selection. Maybe you want to look through the sky dome on one of our biggest fleets ‘Iona’ or take a dip in one of Britannia’s four swimming pools?

What’s included

The free on-board programme for 2–17 year olds is split into four distinct age groups, so that the needs and level of play in each group can be met, and to ensure that they have the chance to make friends of their own age.

Aardman

You’ll find Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep on board our family-friendly ships. This playful bunch from Aardman brings its familiar brand of fun, frolics and British eccentricity to your holiday.
