Its magnificent coastline has 365 beaches, which are overlooked by historic forts and Shirley Heights, the place for famous 'jump up' parties in the south. Are flights included in the cruise price?

If you choose to make your own travel arrangements to join your ship, any flights you take will not form part of the package provided by us and will not be covered by our ATOL protection. You will also need to ensure that you leave sufficient time in your itinerary to reach the cruise terminal by the check-in time stated on your e-ticket as our transfers will not be included.

Can I make my own travel arrangements?

Choose your preferred seat on selected Caribbean and Mediterranean charter flights via our Flight Seat Booker tool on&nbsp;<a href="https://prod.author.carnivalukgroup.com/content/po/master_website/en_GB/mycruise.html">My P&amp;O Cruises</a>. (additional charges apply).

Seats on scheduled flights can usually be purchased through the airline’s own website. Some airlines require tickets to be issued before they allow you to pre-book seats, in which case payment for your flight may be required in advance and will be non-refundable.

Call our Customer Contact Centre or your travel agent for more information. Alternatively most airlines allow you to check-in online 24 hours prior to departure, at which time seat reservations are usually free of charge, though this does vary by airline.

Can I pre-book my seat?

When you book a fly-cruise holiday with us, you can manage your flights to suit your needs, including the option to upgrade where available.
Short-haul flights:&nbsp;All guests are allocated Economy class seats, and upgrades are generally not available.
Caribbean fly-cruises:&nbsp;You can request an upgrade when your cruise goes on sale by calling our&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pocruises.com/contact-us">Customer Contact Centre</a>. Seat selection opens about 14 weeks before departure via the Flight Seat Booker tool (additional charges apply, regardless of cabin grade). You’ll receive an email when seat purchase becomes available. If you don’t purchase seats, they will be allocated automatically.
World Cruise sectors:&nbsp;Upgrades to Premium Economy, Business, or First Class are available on selected airlines. Benefits vary by airline, so please check their website. We can provide upgrade quotes with other airlines or our other fly-cruises from around 11 months before departure, once flight schedules are released.

How do I upgrade my flight?

Most of the time, yes. However, if for some reason your flight is unable to meet the cruise ship, we’ll let you know and overnight accommodation will be included in your holiday. We’ll take care of everything so that you don’t have to.&nbsp;

Is it safe to fly the day of the cruise?

On selected Caribbean chartered flights, we’re pleased to offer our seamless service known as ‘bonded baggage.’ Once you’ve dropped your luggage off at the airport, you won’t see it again until it’s outside your cabin. Just make sure all your bags have the P&amp;O Cruises luggage label attached&nbsp;before&nbsp;you check in at the airport and we’ll do the rest.

Please also ensure you have sufficient items in your hand luggage for arrival into Barbados / Antigua (for example, medication or a fresh set of clothes), as luggage may not be delivered to your cabin until late in the evening.&nbsp;

Scheduled flights
&nbsp;
Scheduled flights are a little different but our representatives will be on hand to make sure the process is just as seamless for you. After arriving at your destination, you’ll need to pass through immigration, collect your luggage from Baggage Reclaim then head to Arrivals. If you booked your flight through P&amp;O Cruises and are arriving on the day of sailing (or you’ve booked a hotel through us) one of our representatives will meet you and give you instructions on joining your coach transfer to the cruise terminal.

If you’ve arranged your own flights or are planning to get to your starting destination a few days before you sail, then you’ll need to organise your own transport to the cruise terminal.

Baggage arrangements for your flight back to the UK will be confirmed during your cruise. Your baggage is collected from outside your cabin the night before you disembark.&nbsp;

On fly-cruises, both the charter and scheduled flight luggage restrictions vary, but are usually between 20kg and 23kg per person. Log in to&nbsp;<a title="Log in to the My P&amp;O Cruises portal" href="https://my.pocruises.com/mycruise">My P&amp;O Cruises</a>&nbsp;and visit the Flights page to view your air carrier baggage allowances. Please note: even if your airline allowance is greater than 23kg, we ask that no individual item of luggage weighs more than 23kg, in order to be safely handled by the ship’s crew and airline baggage handlers.

Due to constant changes each year, we’re unable to specify which airlines we use. However, once your flights are confirmed, you’ll be able to see them in My P&amp;O Cruises.

What airline does P&O Cruises use?

We keep a close watch on travel across our 800+ destinations, guided by trusted UK and international authorities. Rest assured, any flight changes will be directly communicated to you and our travel agent partners.

In the event of a flight change, we'll send you a new flight confirmation email and update the information in &quot;My flights&quot; on <a title="Manage your cruise booking" href="https://www.pocruises.com/my-pocruises" target="_self" rel="noopener noreferrer">My P&amp;O Cruises</a>.

We’ll keep you fully informed right up until your final flight departs, including 24/7 text alerts should any delay or disruption be encountered.

When you sail with P&amp;O Cruises, your holiday is a protected package. In the unlikely event your flight is cancelled, and we are unable to get you to your ship, we'll offer you a transfer to another holiday, or a full refund. If your return flight is cancelled, we'll get you home safe and sound.

What happens if my flight details change?

A fly-cruise is just the thing for those who love to start their holiday by soaking in the sun straight away. With a choice of regional airports to fly from, a fly-cruise means you can sit back and relax the moment you step off the plane whilst getting to experience the magic on board with exciting entertainment, delicious dining options and the opportunity for some retail therapy with our on-board shops. Then, once your relaxing cruise holiday is over, you’ll be transferred back to the airport for your flight home.&nbsp;

What is a fly-cruise holiday?

Once your flight details are confirmed, you will be sent a flight confirmation email. Your flight details will also be available by logging in to <a href="https://www.pocruises.com/my-pocruises" title="Log in to My P&amp;O Cruises" aria-label="Log in to My P&amp;O Cruises">My P&amp;O Cruises</a> and selecting &quot;My flights&quot; under &quot;Manage my booking&quot; in the navigation menu.
