You're entitled to up to 15 alcoholic drinks per day, per package. After which, any drinks will be charged at full price with a 20% discount. All non-alcoholic drinks included in the package are unlimited.
Only one drink may be ordered per package at any one time at a minimum of 15-minute intervals.

Are there limits to the number of drinks included in the drinks packages?

Each guest aged 18 years (21 years in United States of America ports) and older may bring up to one litre of wine or Champagne on board when they embark the ship for the first time only. Wine or Champagne over the one-litre limit will be stored and returned to the guest prior to the end of the cruise. If this alcohol is consumed in the dining rooms, bars, restaurants or lounge areas, it will be subject to a corkage fee of £20* per bottle, per occasion, which will be charged to the guest’s on-board account. Other alcohol types such as spirits are considered restricted items and guests are prohibited from bringing them on board when they first embark the ship.

Can I bring alcohol on board, and is there a corkage fee?

From ship to shore, we are striving to be more sustainable. As a result, single use takeaway cups will no longer be available from our coffee shops and bars. You can now purchase a re-usable P&amp;O Cruises travel cup for takeaway drinks. Or we’re happy to make a drink to-go in your own personal travel cup. These changes, along with others we’ve already made, ensure we continue to meet our sustainability goals.

Can I bring my own coffee cup?

A sports channel called Sport 24, which offers coverage of major events, is screened in selected venues on all our ships. You can find full details of the sporting events shown on board at <a href="http://www.sport24live.com/">sport24live.com</a>. The channel is also available to view on your in-cabin TV.

Do bars show the sports on board?

It’s entirely your choice. You may either purchase a Drinks Package, or buy drinks as you go using your on-board account. Also, if you decide that you’d like to buy a Drinks Package once on board, you can do this within the first 2 days of your cruise, just speak to a member of our bar team. It’s worth remembering that Drinks Packages can only be purchased for cruises of 5 nights or longer.

Do I have to buy a drinks package?

Currently, we do not limit the volume of soft drinks and just recommend guests bring what they can personally carry on board. Typically, this is a few bottles of soft drinks or a few multi-packs of soft drinks.&nbsp;

How many soft drink cans or juice cartons can I bring on board?

It’s perfectly safe to drink the water from the taps on board our ships, wherever your holiday takes you. You can also order complimentary tap water from all the bars, restaurants and cafés on board, or pour your own in the buffet restaurant.

Drinks options

Uncapped refreshments are included in the price of your holiday. The buffet offers water, tea, and coffee all day. You can also enjoy juices at breakfast and tea and coffee in the restaurants during meals.

For alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and Costa Coffee you can pay as you go. Drinks are priced individually and you can purchase them from the cruise bars and restaurants on board. Our drinks are competitively priced, just like what you’d expect to pay in your local pub.

Does Ventura have Freedom dining?

Depending on the cabin type and location, balconies on board Ventura vary from 4 to 26 square metres. If you’re keen to know out about the size of the balcony for a specific cabin, feel free to call us on 0344 338 8003.&nbsp;

How big are the balconies on Ventura cruise ship?

During the day, you can dress in whatever you like. However, on all our ships, we have two dress codes that apply in the evenings: Evening Casual and Black Tie. Nights where the dress code is Evening Casual, you can bring out your best shirt, dress and smart, dark denim. For nights where the dress code is Black Tie, make sure to pack your best tux, suit or cocktail dress.

There are some venues on each ship where dress codes don’t apply, so make sure to check your Horizon paper that’s delivered to your cabin each day to check where these are, as they vary ship by ship. For those travelling on family-friendly ships, dress codes also don’t apply to children aged 12 and under.&nbsp;
