Accessible Panoramic Aarhus
Your leisurely journey commences in the southern part of the city centre, where you’ll stop at the Mindeparken. This memorial park, and recreational area, is right next to the Royal Summer Residence, Marselisborg Palace. You’ll have an opportunity to stretch your legs and wander through in the verdant park, in the shadow of the regal palace.
As you ride towards the city centre, you’ll pass the Norwegian-marble-clad City Hall and the modern Concert Hall. You’ll also see the ARoS Museum of Modern Art, with its famous rooftop – a rainbow-coloured glass structure, fittingly named ‘Your Rainbow Panorama’.
Continuing past Den Gamle By, an open-air museum exhibiting historical houses from across Denmark, you’ll see the university and University Park. After a brief stop in front of the 880-year-old cathedral, you’ll pass through the Latin Quarter on your way to Aarhus Ø. These regenerated docklands are renowned for their contemporary architecture, such as the prominent Iceberg Complex. But they are also home to historic structures, such as the Customs House.
