Your journey begins with a drive to Hlíðarfjall Mountain, the country’s most popular winter ski resort, where you can soak up fantastic views over Akureyri and Eyjafjörður. Then enjoy more scenery as you ride through Kjarnaskógur Forest to the amazing Forest Lagoon, which is tucked away between the shores of Eyjafjörður and the Vaðlaskógur Forest. Then indulge in the facilities of the 1,300-square-meter complex, which include a geothermal spa, saunas and two infinity pools heated by all-natural geothermal water. Your return drive will take you through the oldest part of Akureyri, past houses dating back to 1800.
