Setting off from the port, enjoy a drive through the new town area of Bari. See the grand residential buildings and bustling shops, interspersed with fine bars and restaurants. A stop will be made to visit the Basilica of St Nicholas. This Roman-Apulian cathedral features wonderful medieval sculptures and is the pride of Bari.

Leaving Bari, you’ll head northwest to the town of Trani, a quaint little fishing harbour scattered with white-walled buildings curving around the shape of the bay. Upon arrival, enjoy a visit to the 11th century Cathedral.  Admire its pale stone architecture which stands out from the blue skies, for which this region is renowned. Afterwards, you’ll have some limited free time to wander the small town, before the return drive to Bari.
