Hiking Mount Fløien

From Øvregaten Street – Bergen’s oldest – board the funicular for a panoramic ride to the viewing platform on Mount Fløien. Standing over 1,000 feet above sea level, enjoy mesmerising vistas of the city and the pristine, mountain-flanked fjord below.

Starting from this lofty spot, follow your guide on a hike through the picturesque woodland of the Fløien hills. Enjoy the unspoilt wilderness and make your way to the idyllic Skomakerdiket lake. 

If the skies are clear you’ll head up to the highest point in the area, Rundemanen, at 1,800 feet. From here you can soak up more magnificent views as your guide picks the perfect walking route to complement the conditions.
