As you embark on your thrilling journey, a legendary land rover will take you away from the main roads and busy highways, and onto back roads where you can experience authentic Balinese villages.

Your first stop is at Batukaru temple, a unique, sacred mountain sanctuary and royal temple of Tabanan dynasty, which was founded in the 11th century. Here you can make an offering to the God and pray with ‘canang’, the most important element of Balinese temple offerings, that you made yourself.

You’ll visit an agricultural village where you can enjoy the fragrance of Balinese coffee being roasted and traditional Balinese snacks freshly prepared for you. You’ll have another opportunity to make ‘canang’, then enjoy an optional 30-minute soft trek through the rice fields. Then high in the mountains, you’ll experience harmony with nature at the dramatic UNESCO-recognized rice terraces of Jatiluwih. 

Afterwards, you can savour a sumptuous Balinese lunch, served in a rainforest restaurant surrounded by giant bamboo. Sit back in the glorious open-air canopy and relax to traditional Balinese music, as you enjoy a glass of wine, beer, tea or Balinese coffee.
