Revel in the spectacular scenic wonders of Normandy, and sample a French national delicacy.
Sit back in your comfy coach and enjoy the ride to the Cape of La Hague. Located in the rugged country west of Cherbourg, it’s dominated by huge granite rocky outcroppings and charming moorlands. You’ll take the scenic coastal road towards Goury, which passes through Port Racine, France’s smallest port, and several typical Norman villages. You’ll also see a host of magnificent manor houses.
In Goury you’ll visit the famous lifeboat, Raz Blanchard, which is well-known for her numerous rescues. Then you’ll go through the wild and picturesque bay D'Ecalgrain, to the spellbinding Nez de Jobourg – the highest cliffs in Europe. The panoramas are simply breath-taking.
After stopping for a delicious salty-butter caramel crêpe, with your choice of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, soft drink or cider, you’ll drive back to Cherbourg through the picturesque Norman countryside.
