Setting off from the port, your journey will take you through Roseau and on to the 300-foot Morne Bruce viewpoint. From there you can soak up panoramic views of the capital, the island’s towering mountains and the glimmering Caribbean coastline.
You’ll continue to the Botanical Gardens, which have been beautifully restored despite the destruction caused by Hurricane David in 1979. As you follow your guide through the gardens, keep an eye out for the huge variety of exotic flowers and tropical trees.
Afterwards, you’ll head inland and pass through the island’s tropical rainforest and plantations, en-route to Jaco Falls. Take in the magnificent views of the falls from the viewpoint, or enjoy an optional walk down to the waterfall pool. While there, you can enjoy some delicious local fruits and a fruit, or rum, punch.
Your return journey to the port will take you through more of the island’s scenic green mountains and lush tropical valleys.
