.Stretch your legs and fill your lungs with pure sea air on a leisurely walk along the coastline towards Ryvarden Lighthouse.
Slip on your walking shoes and follow your local guide along the flat, gravelled pathway leading to the stunningly situated sentinel overlooking the entrance to Bømlafjord.
Have your camera ready for some captivating shots of nature in all its glory. If you’re lucky, you’ll spot seals in the water and eagles up above as you pass by the landscape of heather and rugged rocks. Reaching the headland, feel the wonderful sense of calm and powerful force of nature envelop you as you soak up the striking scenery.
The lighthouse was automatised in 1984 and now serves as a cultural centre with a small gallery, conference facilities and a café. You’ll have some free time to explore here, after a hot drink and a delicious waffle to set you up for the walk back to Mølstrevåg.
