Hamburg by Land and Lake

Sit back and relax on board your coach as a journey of around 1½ hours takes you into the vibrant city of Hamburg.

Upon arrival, a panoramic drive will introduce you to some of the main highlights. You’ll pass Hamburg’s impressive neo-renaissance style Town Hall, housing the government of the federal city state, the Alster Lake and the fashionable Jungfernstieg Boulevard, before heading towards the famous warehouse district. Built in Gothic redbrick architecture, this area houses fine spices, coffee and tea from all over the world.

A highlight of your tour will be a leisurely harbour cruise, allowing you the opportunity to admire the city landscape that dots the riverbank. During your cruise, enjoy refreshments of coffee or tea accompanied by a typical German pastry.   

Afterwards, re-join your coach as your sightseeing tour continues past more of the city’s highlights, including St Michael’s Church, Planten and Blomen Park and the famous red-light district, the Reeperbahn.

Pass by the Old Elbe Tunnel and along the Elbe River, before heading back to Kiel.
