Hike to the rim of the Caldera de Bandama and enjoy a Monte Lentiscal vineyard wine tasting.
Enjoy a scenic ride through beautiful volcanic landscapes that were formed over 14-million years ago. At the spectacular Caldera de Bandama you’ll hike up to the rim of the caldera and find an amazing crater – 900 metres across and 250 metres deep –filled with lush vegetation. From the viewpoint, the panoramas are remarkable and reach down to Telde, Santa Brígida and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The Bandama area is also known for its vineyards, and you’ll visit one of the Monte Lentiscal cellars to sample two of their delicious wines, with fresh bread and local Canarian cheese.
